Stephen Chollet is a two-time Emmy Award winning filmmaker living in Chico, California. For over a decade he has worked independently as a producer, director, cinematographer, editor and visual effects artist. Also working in design, photography, web and other audio-visual mediums, Stephen can handle a variety of projects. Born in Northern California, Stephen's work has taken him around the world - 6 continents to be exact. From the depths of the Egyptian pyramids to the Blue Mountains outside of Sydney, Australia...his work is as diverse as the locations and people encountered on these journeys.
Stephen works well alone or on a team. Whether you need him to handle an entire project from start-to-finish, or work a specific role in a larger production, Stephen has the experience and work ethic required to get it done well and on time.
Living just north of Sacramento, California - Stephen is well positioned for daily film and video projects in Sacramento, San Francisco Bay Area, Redding, Chico, Central Valley and more. Stephen is an experienced traveller and can be available anywhere in the world with relatively short notice.

I live in Chico, California and was born and raised about 20 minutes away in Oroville. Northern California is a beatufiul place to call home. It is close to Sacramento and the San Francisco bay area, an easy drive up to Lake Tahoe, and offers some of the best scenery available, such as Mount Shasta just north of Redding.
In addition to living in such a wonderful place, I also have a passion for world travel and my work takes me around the globe. No matter where your project might be, Chollet Films is just a drive or a flight away.
